Tylers Hope

Tyler's Hope is near and dear to my heart. This family is one of our really close friends and we will do anything to help remember Tyler. 10% of all our online boutique sales will go to the fund for Tyler's Hope. Please read below.

Tyler William Cordle is my beautiful, amazing, sweet son. At 13 months old, in December 2008, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma. An aggressive form of childhood cancer. Tyler went through one year of very aggressive treatment and was declared in remission after 5 months but just 10 days after he finished treatment, we got the phone call that no parent wants to hear. Tyler had relapsed. Once a child with Neuroblastoma relapses, there is no cure. He began treatment again and did well at first. The tumor that was found in his leg was dead after only a couple rounds of chemo but just a few months later, it was back and on August 16th, 2010, the joy of my life, the best gift God has ever given me, my beautiful boy Tyler was taken from me. That will forever be the worst day of my life.
Through everything Tyler endured he was the happiest most wonderful child a parent could ever hope for. He loved riding his dirt bike, playing with his cars, playing with cell phones, listening to his favorite song "Big Green Tractor",  going to motocross races, riding the lawn tractor, dancing and singing along with his karaoke machine and toting around his best stuffed friends, "puppy" AKA Sam and "baby puppy".
To honor Tyler, I have done several things to keep his face and his story of courage and bravery out there for people to see and hear. One way I am doing this is to raise money for much-needed Neuroblastoma research. I organized a rummage, craft and bake sale along with a raffle in June 2011 called "Tyler's Hope". I am happy to say that so far, we have raised a little over $6000.00 and that total continues to grow as people continue to buy "Support Childhood Cancer" t-shirts with Tyler's picture on them as well as bumper stickers that are a tribute to his favorite song.
I am passionate about raising money for Neuroblastoma research so no child ever has to go through what Tyler went through and so no parent ever has to hear "There is nothing more we can do for your child".

Forever his mommy,

Kristine
